Is Selectic free?

Yes. Selectic is completely free to use with no subscriptions, in-app purchases, or ads.

How do I report an inappropriate avatar or display name?

Visit the user's profile and tap the "Report" link below their name. Select a reason (inappropriate avatar, inappropriate display name, or other), add optional details, and submit. Our team reviews all reports and takes action within 24 hours.

What happens when I report someone?

Our team reviews the report. If the content violates our Terms of Service, we may reset the user's avatar, display name, or both. The reported user is not told who filed the report. Filing false or abusive reports is a violation of our terms.

How do I block a user?

Visit the user's profile and tap "Block". This removes them from your friends, hides their activity from your feed, and prevents them from seeing your profile. You can unblock them at any time from their profile.

How do I change my display name or avatar?

Open the app, go to Profile, and tap your name or avatar to update them.

How do I make my profile private?

Go to Profile and toggle "Private profile" on. When private, only your friends can see your watched titles and comparisons. Your name and avatar remain visible.

How do I delete my account?

Open the app, go to Profile, scroll down, and tap "Delete Account". This permanently removes all your data including your profile, watched titles, comparisons, and any reports you've filed.
